No, we accept students from all the Bible-teaching churches in our area. CCA is a non-denominational school. We do require one parent to be pursuing a personal relationship with the Lord. We believe church attendance is critical to an individual’s spiritual growth in the Lord. We also require faculty and families to agree with our statement of faith.

We follow the State of Delaware Department of Education guidelines for school operations and the Delaware Department of Public Health guidelines for quarantine. Our facilities are outfitted with an ultraviolet light air cleaning system in our HVAC.

As of today, we are full and managing a waiting list for this year. Re-enrollment begins in February each year. We will know how many openings per grade will be available after the Open House in March 2024.

Yes. Before School Care is available from 6:30 am and After School Care is available until 5:30 pm. There are separate fees for these services. This will be included on the tuition schedule.
Nearly all of our teachers have a bachelor’s degree, we have 30% with a masters, and a few with their doctorate. Nearly all K-12 staff have a state certification or similar certification with ACSI International. All of our teachers have a personal relationship with Jesus and attend a variety of local churches. We enjoy a very stable workforce, teachers with longevity and experience, along with a positive Christian Culture. Our teachers love God, love children and love their jobs!
We serve students from ages Pre-K2 to 12th grade.

Our Pre-K2 Program is Five (5) Day Full Day. Our Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 Programs offer a Three (3) Day – Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday or a Five (5) Day Option. You may choose Half or Full Day for either option. The Half Day Option dismisses at noon.

Children must be 2.5 before March 1st to apply to our PreK2 classroom. All other grade levels PreK3 – 12 must turn the appropriate age by August 31st.

Our current tuition for the existing year is found here. We will update next year’s tuition schedule by the end of  January before the coming school year.

Applications for Tuition Assistance are done through an independent company called FACTS Grant & Aid. The application is then reviewed by the Finance Committee to determine if any offer can be made. The FACTS Grant  & Aid online application can be found here. Please know that Tuition Assistance comes directly from our school budget and is limited to families who we can verify have a demonstrated financial need. It is only offered for grades K-12. **There is also a Grant program available to NEW CCA families for the 2024-2025 school year. It is available for PreK3 – 12th grade. To determine if your family qualifies for this grant, please use the same tuition assistance application form.

Preschool: Creative Curriculum, Handwriting w/out Tears (K4) (Teaching Strategies Gold Assessment Program) Kindergarten-2nd use Super Kids Phonics, BJU Press, and ACSI curriculum. The 3rd -12th grade uses mostly ACSI, BJU Press, and Apologia for all courses. *Most books are purchased separately from tuition

Applications are found on our website under the Admissions Tab or “Apply Here” Button. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee. Current CCA students have the first opportunity to re-enroll each January and February. Then, new students can apply for open positions early in March. All students K-12 will take a grade level readiness test. Acceptances are typically offered between mid April-mid July. Once accepted, there is a $150 enrollment fee.

Yes, Preschool – Kindergarten students have a dress code (ie modest, comfortable clothing that is safe / suitable for play). Students in 1st – 12th grade have a standardized dress code. CCA’s Dress Code policies can be found here.
